Aspartame

The danger of Aspartame

What is aspartame (E951)?

Aspartame is an artificial sweetener, that is processed in 6000+ foods and the number is still rising. Aspartame is, because it hardly has calories used in various diet ('light') products. Best known from products such as soft drinks and sweeteners . We find it in products such as orange squash, yogi, multi-juice, yogurt, cottage cheese, Yakult, candy, cookies, cakes, chewing gum, vitamins, toddler toothpaste, etc.
Aspartame seems to be, already at dosages of 20 mg /kg per day, carcinogenic, there are also a lot of people with strange and unexplained illnesses that suddenly seem to heal after stopping the use of aspartame.

Research – Ramazzini

Already on July 14, 2005 Ramazzini (Italian Institute for Cancer Research a) published the first results of their so-called 'mega-expiriment. At doses v.a. 20 mg / kg per day were statistically significant and dose-dependent increases measured about leukemia, lymphomas and brain tumors. Only at doses of 4 mg /kg per day (this is well below the Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) in America set at 50 mg / kg, in Europe at40 mg / kg) there was, not statistically significant but very striking, an increase of 62% of leukemia and lymphomas in female rats.

Cancer type:

Carcinogenic dose from:

Malignant brain tumors

2500 mg/kg

Malignant tumors

100 mg/kg

Kidneys, pelvis, ureter

4 - 20 mg/kg

Olfactory epithelium

20 mg/kg

Lymphoma / Leukemia

4 - 20 mg/kg

This shows that aspartame is absolutely not suitable for children, orange squash 1 liter = 600 mg of aspartame and is for children from 60 pounds less, an absolute no no.

Unless you have shares in Aspartame or Nutrasweet andyour health is worth less than your wallet, stay far away from this artificial sweetener.
We know that sugar is bad for us but it can get worse !!!!!
Also, the replacement of aspartame for another artificial sweetener is not always a good solution.
